Carolyn Coleman (CC) was welcomed onto the committee. She has been co-opted on as children's liaison.

2. Minutes of the Previous Meeting #1 28 April 2008
The minutes were accepted and signed off after it was noted that approach for music on Panto was to David Blake and Cabaret, Nigel Dickinson

3. Matters Arising
3.1: £50 has been sent to the Village School to support their school productions, in memory of Liz Gavin. 3.2: Pat France (PF) to contact Martin Coppen for forwarding on information on the society’s donation to Liz Gavin’s next of kin.

4. Treasurer's Report
4.1: £2,643 in Building Society. £100 cash. £66 to be paid in.
4.2: A £350 annual insurance premium is due. This together with a few o/s small payments will reduce the society’s balance to c.£2,500

5. Current Production – “Brits & Pieces”
5.1: Jane Snow (JS) leading on this, supported by Julie Wilding (JW).
5.2: Dates  17 & 18 October 2008.

6. Panto Production – February 2009
6.1: Clarify dates in February re hall availability and half term.
